Finished projects, skills learned, jobs done, places visited, people helped, software mastered, artworks created, communities participated in:<\/p><ul><li>I went to Armageddon twice at the old stadium<\/li><li>I ghostwrote half a marketing book 50\/100pgs in a week<\/li><li>I sold an amusement design to a North American company\u2019s Indian-themed amusement park presentation<\/li><li>I began learning game maker<\/li><li>I had a few web development gigs \u2013 built a website for a school and a few for local artists<\/li><li>Reviewed about 9 screenplays as freelance gigs on fiverr<\/li><li>I visited Fiji three times with family<\/li><li>I travelled with family; Mexico, San Francisco, Paris, Hong Kong, London, Yorkshire, Essex, Lancashire and Worcester<\/li><li>I attended four out of eight days of an online game jam<\/li><li>I began exposure therapy, self-directed, to get better at peopling and engaging with my communities in-person \u2013 which is also to help market my tiny, solo, craft studio<\/li><li>I formed a business indie game dev team and we worked on some projects, before I decided to dissolve it to go solo \u2013 I learned a lot about indie game development in a team setting, and marketing<\/li><li>I became a member of NZGDA for 1yr<\/li><li>I finished a mod of the CCG \u2013 <em>Overpower <\/em>by Marvel as an unofficial forkable rulebook on GitHub (self-published)<\/li><li>I developed my pencilling, Photoshop, Adobe Express \u2013 editorial layout, and Gimp illustration skills<\/li><li>I developed my first zine (3 years in development) to almost ready to launch, with 9 out of 16 conversations (in final layout edits) almost completed, and the rest nearing completion as well<\/li><li>I lived in a flat with friends, for 2yrs<\/li><li>I quit smoking, cut way back on nicotine gum and alcohol<\/li><li>I started using two savings accounts; one for 4-6 months of savings, the other for more short term savings (a few hundred dollars at a time)<\/li><li>I started managing my bills as part of my weekly budgeting (online subscriptions, at $35\/wk) and limiting my shopping to around $230\/wk<\/li><li>I have engaged online with the local wargaming group<\/li><li>I started getting up at 8am every day, (sometimes I still sleep in until 10am, but I\u2019m always awake well before noon)<\/li><li>I pretty much went pescatarian, + a few pies<\/li><li>I support a local filmmaking club with their organisational goals<\/li><li>I have around 26 products nearing completion; to launch between January and September next year \u2013 mostly: novellas, games, cartoon art, comics, zines, radio, theatre scripts and experimental video projects\/prop-building<\/li><li>Though I sometimes don\u2019t manage to tidy everyday, I clean my bedroom regularly \u2013 unlike when I was flatting. So, it\u2019s a nice space to live in and my desk is organised, so are my papers<\/li><li>I\u2019ve written several books and screenplays and TV pilots since 2013<\/li><li>I\u2019ve grown a 670 following on insta in a few months and nearly 100 subscribers on YouTube, over 1k following on linkedin and a 5k monthly views on Threads<\/li><li>My latest Tiktok video received 687 views \u2013 I also have 200 followers<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Evidence I existed after earning my two degrees in 2011-2013 upto 2026 Not goals, not regrets\u2014just completed things.
